As you are all aware the Country is about to go into it’s second lockdown this year from 5th November until 2nd December and sadly it has today been confirmed as a result of this decision that the RFU have declared that all Rugby activities are to be suspended below Elite level during this period and returned to Stage A of the return to Rugby protocol.

We are naturally extremely disappointed with this as we have worked extremely hard to ensure that all the children have been able to train as safely as possible during this period and for that we thank all our coaches, parents and children for assisting in providing that support. However, given the ever increasing rate of infection for Covid 19 that is spreading across the County and Country we have no choice but to support the Governing bodies in ensuring we play our part in reducing the infection rate. Therefore, in line with the lockdown dates we will be suspending all activity at the club until 2nd December.

As with the last lockdown we are fully aware that this period may cause a lot of stress and uncertainty for many of you and as such we want to reiterate as a club that if you find yourself  struggling in any way to cope either emotionally or financially please contact your Age Group Coach or a Committee Member and we will endeavour to help you in any way we can. We have got through this once and we will get through it again and we will be ready and waiting for your return to Fenley Fields when this is over.

For now though please take care and we will see you all very soon
