Stratford took all the points from the league game on Saturday, sealing their win with two tries in added time at the end after OLs had led 25-22 after 40 minutes of the second half. A full account of the game now available under Match Reports, below.

The 2nds were leading their Stratford counterparts as the hour mark approached when the game was abandoned following a serious injury to a home player. We wish him well and a speedy recovery.

The Colts 'A' team travelled to Bedford for their first game in the East Midlands League and went down to a heavy 17-53 defeat. They are unlikely to face another side as strong as this all season as their opponents Colts team is fielded as a result of a collaborative arrangement between Championship Club Bedford Blues and Bedford Athletic of the South East Premier League. No disgrace there!

The Annual VPs' Lunch is this Saturday, 5th October, before the league game against Pinley, when you will be able to see the new Centenary kit on show for the first time. Lunch tickets available from Alan Willis or David Eales.
