For the first time since our new website was launched, we now have the complete season’s fixture lists uploaded for all 3 senior teams, 1st, 2nd and 3rd XVs, including league, cup and friendly games. Just click on ‘Teams’ above, select the team you want, then ‘Fixtures’.

The 1st XV start their competitive season with a Warwickshire Shield game, at home against Barkers Butts on Saturday 7th September. (That will be an interesting one against the side who effectively torpedoed our promotion ambitions last season!) Not yet on the list, but confirmed for Saturday 21st September, is a 2nd round Midlands Intermediate Cup game away at Walsall, from M2WN. The first league fixture takes us to Nuneaton Old Eds on 14th September.

There are 4 clubs coming into Mids 2 W (S) this season. Our old friends Stratford return to the Midlands Division after a torrid season in South West 1 (E) and Malvern were relegated from Midlands 1 (W). Pinley were promoted from Midlands 3 and Spartans have been transferred across from M2W(N), finishing 9th in that league last season.

The 1sts have 2 pre-season friendlies booked, both against Midlands 1 teams. They travel to Lutterworth on Saturday 17th August, then entertain Market Harborough on Friday 30th August, ko 7.30 – the Colts will also play their counterparts from Mkt Harborough at home, ko 6.00pm.
