The 1st XV's hopes of making the promotion play-offs were severely dented when an uncharacteristically limp display was punished by Belgrave, who won by 18-3. The team finished without scoring a try for the first time for at least 3 seasons!

When Barkers Butts failed to show for their Warwickshire 1 game, the 2nds were left high and dry, having already warmed up for the game when it became clear that there was no opposition. Ironically the 3rds travelled to Alcester short of a full XV whilst 18 players were left without a game at Fenley Field. Alcester 2nds won that one by 20-5.
