Dear OLRFC Member,

Since the decision was taken not to move to Bilton Grange the club has been liaising with the Old Laurentian Society about the re-development of our home at Fenley Field and I am delighted to confirm that a new Development Team has been created to facilitate the improvements needed. One of the first decisions made by the team was that they would be “open & transparent” about the plans and progress and to this end they will produce a monthly newsletter to keep all the Stakeholders informed and most importantly involved.

I am therefore pleased to attach the first Newsletter from which you will see the current situation, next steps and most importantly how you can help and the need for feedback. In order to facilitate a proper conduit of such feedback to the Team and to recognize the other stakeholders can I ask that all members either approach me as Chairman,  Kev Vince as Chairman of the M&J’s or Nic Marsh as the Chair of the Phoenix Ladies in the first instance. This feedback will then  be collated with a view to the creation of a Rugby Club Development Committee and any person wishing to become part of that team please volunteer!!

This is the start of an exciting period for OLRFC as we enter our Centenary year and I can merely repeat the closing line of the Newsletter – TOGETHER we have one chance to get this right.
