The purpose of 'Coaches Corner' is to collate and identify a range of coaching resources to support and develop our M&J coaches to provide the best quality of coaching to our 400+ M&J players.

Our M&J vision is 'to be an outstanding section by supporting and developing confident, skillful players who enjoy playing rugby'.

Coaching is one of the most crucial factors in developing, sustaining, and increasing participation in rugby union, securing the future and quality of the English game.

To be an effective coach, you will need to fulfil several different roles, covering the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects demanded by our game.

There is lots of help available for all levels of coaches whether you are just starting out with M&J or even seniors or if you are working your way up the coaching ladder.

Old Laurentian RFC M&J is committed to helping coaches of all levels and there is lots of support available.

At Old Laurentian RFC M&J we are aiming to:

1. Increase the standard and numbers of coaches

2. Support our Junior Rugby coaches to transition and retain in the game.

3. Increase and support the number of advanced level coaches in our club

4. Introduce coach mentors
